Blobble
A cross-platform desktop companion made from your name. It lives in the tray or the bar, reacts to what you do and keeps you on a Pomodoro. The Windows app is done, Linux is in progress.
A small version
A small version of the project. The full one is linked below.
How it works
- 01Blobble draws a creature from a name. The name is a seed: the same name always produces the same silhouette, colour and face, so your blob is yours.
- 02The shapes, colours and expressions come from blobatar (MIT, by Alain), vendored into OmaBlob and reused here, so this page shows the exact blobs the apps draw.
- 03Below is the generator. Change the name, shape, hue or mood, then download the SVG. The desktop app adds a tray icon, a Pomodoro timer and walking.
